&
workshops

Training courses and masterclass workshops in Mine Haul Road Design, Construction and Management are offered in various formats, to suit client needs
Currently, formats available are on-line hosted or on-line self-study
On-site - this approach delivers site-specific solutions and understanding of the local mine operating and road-building environment. Insights into road-building materials, construction equipment and remediation requirements for site roads and operating practice. Suits technical, engineering, planning and production staff alike
Off-site - to meet more generic training requirements, where delegates learn to apply and assess basic haul road design, construction and management techniques. Hosted by various providers including CPEE (Australia)
Self-paced e-learning - Accredited e-learning options, hosted through EduMine (a division of Glacier Resources Innovation Group), Canada. Delegates work though dedicted Chapters dealing with each aspect of haul road design, together with a knowledge assessment, at a convenient time, pace and venue that suits their work and leisure lifestyles

CPEE hosted workshops - Australia

Presented on-line over 2-days, this course is ideal for engineers and technologists involved with the design and operation of mine haul roads.

Ideal for those involved with heavy-loaded non-highway roads, with specific emphasis on haul roads and their dynamics. The course also introduces delegates to the use of CIRCLY7 for structural design.

The course provides delegates with an understanding of the overall concepts and principles of mine haul road design.

Mining consultants, contractors, truck fleet operators and personnel involved with the design, construction and day-to-day operations and maintenance of mine roads will benefit from the course. Delegates qualify for recognised CPD credits.

edumine hosted e-learning courses

This EduMine course introduces participants to the principles of mine haul road design, from road-building material selection and characterisation, road-user truck and traffic requirements, through to performance benchmarking and evaluations.

These skills will enable participants to to evaluate their current haul road systems, recognise operational inefficiencies and implement CI strategies to reduce cost per tonne hauled across the network and improve safety and performance on a day-to-day basis.

Accreditation through Association for Continuing Education and training and/or qualifies as on-line learning for the Certificate in Mining Studies in the Mining Methods and Mine Planning stream, at various Canadian and American Universities.
